A New Direction, An Old Pleasure

After working more or less non-stop for a year and a half in a job going nowhere. Doing something that i have no plans to be doing for the rest of my life i decided to get my hours cut down a bit so i can focus on my designing a bit more

so i finally went and bought myself a dress making mannequin i went 3 years of university without one but i have now finally got my very own
maybe this will give me the push/motivation i need to start doing more in designing as i have dearly missed it and wanted to start it up again for so long

so fingers crossed i take it up properly

i saw this on ebay and thought it is time this is the perfect time to start up again its cheap enough and better to put my wages to good use otherwise id just end up buying more dvds and underwear even though those two are loves of mine haha.

Next thing on the list is Pattern Cutting Paper

so for now i will leave you with a picture/design of what i'm working on at the moment i started this in uni a few years back but never finished it due to not knowing how and time management so i thought before starting something new all together id finish the un-finished

the project outline was "Hireath " we had to come up with a collection based one something to do with wales and its history so i looked at Saint David's Day (also my birthday)  so my collection developed in the direction of flowers/cakes and wools

the trousers in this design were finished but the blouse never got finished as i had trouble with planning/manufacture of the flower on the blouse but now i hope to finish it.

watch this space xoxo

bye for now
